I don't do gaming, almost at all, but when I do, it's car racing games. Reason I bring this up...you can obviously play live against your friends, but on xbox, PS, etc. as you play, you're creating a profile that is supposed to mimic you when you aren't online. So if you get online and you're friends aren't online, you can still race their AI profile.


I say all that to say...I'm sure something similar could be used anywhere on the internet. Even here on Voat.

When you use your smartphone to autocomplete texts...you're not only teaching their AI algorithm how humans talk, but specifically how YOU talk. Think about that for moment or two.

Couple that with (((Musk))) disclosing that twitter is 90% bots...

If you're basing your view of how the world is based on what you're seeing online...I've got news for you...the world isn't that way. Get rid of your smartphone, meet people in real life...

Philip K Dick, whose novel Do Androids Dream Of Electric Sheep? was the loose basis for the original Blade Runner. In it, there is a replicant who reads literature, longs to be human, but when given a base line test is treated subhumanly by an interrogator who could almost be a machine himself.

When you think about it.. it sounds just like voat.

Unlike in the novel, though, the tragedy of online posting is you can't actually test the perp, because it is firewalled behind an alias and they can move between their bot to their handler who would handily pass Blade Runner's baseline test.

The real take away is to realize your own goal and destiny, move towards it, discuss it with others so that you might inspire them, but stay true to your own path.
