4chan you're fucked as they don't look at appeals.
If it's a paid service, ask about getting a refund.

In general, being polite and honest will get you off a ban list.
Really depends on what got you banned in the first place, along with how heavy the ticket queue is. If you're talking about something like youtube you need to locate an insider and blackmail them.
