China bans Hollywood movie "Thor: Love and Thunder" because of LGBT characters.

While "Thor: Love and Thunder" topped the domestic box office this weekend, its global numbers are missing a key market: China. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the nation continues its recent trend of leaving Marvel films in limbo and off its release schedule. While other Phase Four Marvel films have been held back for various reasons, sources at two cinema chains in China told THR the cause in this case is pretty clear: "Thor: Love and Thunder" includes queer representation that has led to it being denied censorship approval.

For years now, China and other global markets have been at odds with Hollywood over even the most minuscule hints of LGBTQ+ representation on screen. Just this year, Warner Bros. provided China with a different cut of the latest "Fantastic Beasts" film, one that cut brief references to wizard Dumbledore's past relationship with Grindelwald.

I honestly liked the first movie of the series. I thought it was a cute superhero flick. The Jane character is kind of annoying but Hemsworth plays a good Thor and they had that whole sibling rivalry thing with Loki and Anthony Hopkins as Odin. There were hardly any niggers. No faggotry that I can think of. It worked.

Id rather get my teeth drilled than watch another marvel movie at this point.

I hate the way my country is being submerged by Asians, but I have to say Koreans made damn good shows. Enormously enjoyed Kingdom. Just started on Squid Game.

Way better than Western crap.

I've watched several few South Korean shows recently too. It hasn't been infected with pervasive social marxism yet, because its a smaller market. The only thing is, I can't tell Koreans apart. I can tell Chinese and Japanese apart, but the Koreans all look like clones to me.
In kingdom, the only one I could intrinsically tell as a different actress, was the ugly, skinny herbalist.

Give Hellbound a go, it was also quite entertaining.

Lol, they are clones, aren't they? But one can't help but be impressed by the creativity of their storytelling. Really shows up how stale Hollywood is.

Their language sounds the same as chink to me as well, though my yellow fever brother can tell them apart. I already knew the writing is different, though - can tell the difference between chink and korean.

Also impressed with how clean and functional and orderly and shiny Seoul looks. That is a first world country. Melbourne looks like a third world shithole in comparison, with its deteriorating infrastructure, nothing being cleaned, rubbish everywhere, and don't get me started on our dirty and smelly trains.

I have seen Hellbound, yes. And wow, it was good. Very good.
