Appreciate the effort.

Yeah I looked up a few versions of the actual graph this afternoon. It looks different depending on whether you attempt to make the area under each curve equal or have each unit of area represent the same X people. AFAIK the black curve actually has shorter tails than the white one -- in other word blacks have less variation and fewer outliers.
