Reminds me of that episode of a Jerry springer type show where they invited some neo nazis to discuss the holocaust with (((Micheal Shermer))) and an adl propagandist.

The neo nazis intentionally played dumb to mold expectations but them came prepared, and started demolishing the opposing side on the show, to the point where they had to take a debate that was one sided, conclude it early, then give an end verdict and summary that had the losing side pretend to be the clear winners, in spite of the curb stomping they got from the neo nazis on the subject throughout the debate.

The nazis were cool, professional and stuck to the arguments and evidence, the other side started to fall apart and attacked them in all sorts of ways that had little to no relevance to the topic.

Apparently they were also throwing tantrums between takes, and outright threatening people with all manner of life ruination if they wouldn't do things to rig the debate and make their side look better.

When the nazi pointed out Shermer's contract with the CIA, you could see the rage beneath the pseudointellectual surface.

Mister ADL was in a permanent Salt mode once he saw that these wouldn't be the pushover stereotypical boneheads they were expecting.

All that it takes for holocaust denialists to win is to simply be allowed to speak, the way they tricked the show into putting them on was by pretending to be the boneheads the producers were looking for.
