I don’t really feel strongly one way or another about Shinzo Abe. I don’t know much about his record frankly.

But this was some awesome macguyvering. Nothing chinks make works right. But nips get er done.

Suspect is Tetsuya Yamagami, who once served in the defense force. I think Japan still hangs people, right?

The video of it looks fake to me as well. The way he falls to his knees looks like acting, and there's no blood despite one of the paramedics saying he couldn't tell if the shot came from the front or back, so clearly it went straight through and took some flesh - where's the blood?

And then of course the videos are conveniently blurry like a 1990s home video, in 2022 when everyone (especially in japan) has a phone with like 3 HD cameras on it...
