I've only seen a few episodes, and i have no idea why its popular. Same for beavis and butthead. I guess idiocracy took plenty of jabs at the neocon stereotype, but the dominant norm in the idiocracy dystopia was diversity, welfare mongering and nigger worship.

Beavis and Butt-Head was popular because it was pretty good social commentary disguised as complete retardation. It was my favorite show when I was in middle school and I still love it to this day. The movie that just came out is great too. There's a nice scene most Goats would appreciate where they pretty much destroy the white privilege narrative.

King of the Hill is mostly just a show that trashes white rednecks though. I don't think Mike Judge is an SJW or anything, but he's definitely a city boy.
