I think she's just talking about not wanting to be lied to and betrayed. Women seem like they can adjust to sharing pretty well as long as they really like the guy, even if they're not the obvious favorite.

She's just saying that scenario is better than being cheated on when you think you have something serious.

Edit: Also not sure how well y'all know women, but that's probably a veiled comment on a situation she's involved in, or else a veiled comment on someone she knows and is talking shit about. Probably both.
