I don't get why there is such an uproar. Boris is the "boss" of his cabinet - ministers being his subordinates. With normal jobs, a subordinate can quit their job whenever they want. Usually, if cliques are strong and they want to "try to screw their boss", they will quit at the same time.

So, who really cares if two subordinates quit? Are these positions so valuable that they are a team of one?

For the place that coined "keep calm and carry on", there sure seems to be a lot of twisted panties over two people quitting.
