Basically though as long as you live under the US government anything you do on immigration is going to be subject to the federal courts, the federal government's usually implied power to control our external borders, naturalization issues which are specifically mentioned constitutionally, and the supremacy of federal law. A secessionist country with control of its own borders does away with this bullshit as the point really is to redraw the borders in such a way to where federal judges, federal bureaucrats, and liberals in general aren't in it. With a new country the slate is wiped clean on jurisprudence issues.
