Early Monster Magnet was pretty rad. I don't think early MM counts as NuMetal.

But the genres of metal have become some spider tunnel of who even knows what that genre even is now ..

I liked Dopes to Infinity. But in retrospect it was a sign that the metal genre was tapped out.

He used to believe what astronomer said this kind of stuff that they actually knew stuff and it was true. Now I realize it's all pure speculation they don't know a damn thing.
