The IQ of the average american in 1776 was higher than the world and the IQ of the average founder and designer of the constitution was probably in the 130 or genius level. This is why a self regulating constitution worked for them and it doesn't work for a dumb population like today.

The IQ of the average american in 1776 was around 10% higher than the world (the migration filter) and the IQ of the average founder and designer of the constitution was probably in the 130 or genius level. This is why a self regulating constitution worked for them and it doesn't work for a dumb population like today.

(One of the key things a smart person knows that a dumb one doesn't is that you must sometimes sacrifice your short term immediate gain for principles which serve your advancement more in the long run.)

I don't disagree.

That's why education was one of the first things to be attacked.

Yes, however, you can improve upon your IQ by learning stuff. IQ doesn't matter much if you just sit on your ass all day.

No, you can't make yourself more intelligent by "learning stuff".

You misunderstand. As I said:

IQ doesn't matter much if you just sit on your ass all day.

Delayed gratification is literally an IQ test though. People that can do it don't need help from the government.

Yes, especially lazy people exist, but that's not the majority. The majority is just smart enough to get by but wants gibs.

Well I think IQ tends to correlate to work ethic and cooperativity but it isn’t the greatest reason for early american success. Otherwise jews would be great leaders. You need cooperativity, honesty, and work ethic. You need high morals so that exploitive individuals cannot rise to power by pandering to vices and self inerest. There are other cognitive traits besides IQ that we need to select for. The environment of Europe selected for a set of behavioral traits. Those traits led to societies that build nice countries. IQ was just one trait.

The lack of women's rights in early America was crucial to it's success. The opinions of women can easily bring a nation to it's knees and destroy any revolution in it's infancy.

This doesn't account for the phenomenon of extremely high IQ individuals tendency to die as broke outcasts.

Why bother with earning points in a society you hate?

Most people are stupid, that is the unsolvable problem.

No, it is not an unsolvable problem. It's just that most folks shy away from the solution.

It tends to be a bit... Final.

I've been wondering if European over-compassion was actually more balanced 100 years ago. I.e., if having all of our most assertive males kill each other off in two cataclysmic world wars was a larger factor of our current susceptibilities than some thousand winters.

I also wonder if the 'returning soldier effect' will kick in before it's too late. But maybe we screwed that up by tolerating decades of abortion. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Returning_soldier_effect

I was saying this just yesterday. Our constitution is perfect. The three branches with a system of checks and balances.... Beautiful, perfect system.

The very sad problem is that most everyone, including the morons IN the government, don't understand it or how things are supposed to work.

Everyone getting all emotional about the recent rulings of the SC, whether they are happy or sad about it, don't understand the concept of "legislating from the bench". The SC is the judicial branch. They don't make laws. That's why they found it unconstitutional. It really doesn't change anything but to throw it back to the legislative branch (either federal or state) to do their job. But retards hear it as "they made abortion illegal omggggg"

It really sucks to see such a wonderful government system get trampled by people who are legitimately too dumb to understand it, so they just call it racist and outdated.

Doesn't help that it's not part of the mandatory education course, either.

Every Jewish owned slave ship that unloaded its cargo in an American port lowered our collective IQ by a significant fraction of a point.

As I have said before, the founders would’ve sunk every one of them if they could have seen this country today…

[ - ] wonderfuldonut 0 points 2.9 yearsJul 4, 2022 06:39:47 ago (+0/-0)

to reason with a fool is pure folly, for the fool does not understand the concept of stupidity.
Therefore fools are incapable of understanding long term outcomes of their actions

Then add in the lower IQ components of society and it is a recipe for disaster. If one cannot pick out their own country on an unmarked atlas, then wrapping their brains around the Constitution penned by the Founding Fathers is akin to What is this magic text you speak of bwana

If you look at how they talked and wrote at the time it makes us look like barbarians. We are in a spoiled age and wrath is being stored up.

They were very clear about being a white nation. George Washington and many of the others spoke against the jew.

Though they made deals with the devil bankers for immediate gain to fund the revolution and other things.

[ - ] Doglegwarrior 0 points 2.9 yearsJul 3, 2022 14:18:55 ago (+0/-0)

Democracy which we don't have... I've heard it described as 3 wolves and a sheep deciding what's for dinner? The 2nd amendment is 3 wolves and a sheep with as many guns as it wants deciding what's for dinner... the crazy thing is we should have goverment with no guns and citizens armed to the teeth that is more what the founders had in mind, they should have been even more clear, but with enough time the jews would have had enough wars and false flags to get the rules changed at some point unless the first thing in the constitution would have been.

Before we start before anything the

THE NUMBER ONE RULE IS NO JEWS ON IN THE UNITED STATES EVER UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES

[ - ] oldblo 0 points 2.9 yearsJul 3, 2022 06:43:29 ago (+0/-0)

Any clue what such a claim about IQ is based on?

[ - ] fritz_maurentod 0 points 2.9 yearsJul 3, 2022 09:33:44 ago (+0/-0)

Intelligence increased up until the industrial revolution, that's about the time when the USA got its independence. From there on people started getting genotypically dumber due to dysgenics but phenotypically smarter due to the Flynn (better environment) effect. This prevented the average IQ from falling. However, since the 90's we are getting dumber both genotypically and phenotypically. The average IQ has been falling since then.

Watch this excellent presentation for the details:

What im saying is how does one rate the intelligence of a corpse?

[ - ] fritz_maurentod 0 points 2.9 yearsJul 3, 2022 12:16:17 ago (+0/-0)

They use different metrics that are correlated with IQ to estimate it by proxy. For example the size of the vocabulary people used, known reaction times, brain size, violence in society, etc.

IQ tests are also nothing new. The first ones came out in 1912, and before that Francis Galton (1822 - 1911) did a lot of research on intelligence and correctly predicted the impending Idiocracy.
