That cat looks like it should be running across a great expanse of savannah.

Exactly Sevals are beautiful wild cats.

When a dog his teeth like that it means that it is anxious or scared.

Adorable cat. Looks calm and sleepy despite the attacks from the dog. But should a cat like this really be indoors in a house?

The slow blinking and small meows are the way a cat shows they are not a threat. It's way of going "chill homie". If it was threatened or threatening you would hear a crazy ass sound come from that cat. The dog was just showing the cat that chair is his. Bearing teath and huffing it's nose is a real warning.

Nope. They can be kept as pets but they are wild cats and shouldn't be. They piss around the house to mark their territory and need to be fed a real meat diet and not just cat food.

Lucky dog. Sharp claws vs dull claws.

When he's full size that cat would get rekt. But theyll probably be good buddies by then. That cat is chill as fuck, those feral breeds usually dont have much tolerance for bullshit.

Nice cat! I'd love to have one of those.

And oddly enough that's about how my big black cat (he's a 20-pounder) acts around our over-active German Shepherd. While in a serious fight the German would absolutely destroy the big cat, she's smart enough to know not to fuck with the cat lest she take some damage. They get along okay.

Serval maybe?

[ - ] Boardallday3 [op] 0 points 2.8 yearsJul 2, 2022 15:18:05 ago (+0/-0)

Yes. These are the wild cats that the expensive "Savannah" housecats are bred with.

Interesting how two things with very different physical brains and also instincts and minds are clearly communicating.

I generally dislike small dogs, but miniature pinschers are the least annoying in my opinion. They make good bed warmers due to their propensity to burrow in the blankets
