Off by an order of magnitude or so - it'll be more like 6-8 billion years. If humans haven't figured out interstellar travel by then, we deserve to fry. Of course, the chances are probably much greater that we'll kill ourselves long, long before that. If we make it another few centuries I'll be impressed. In a short period of time, technology will be advanced enough that extinction level events become much more probable, possibly even things that would have been survivable in the past will have the potential to wipe us out.

Imagine a massive solar storm destroyed every electrical grid on earth, but everyone is plugged into a life simulator in the Metaverse and they're being fed on some automated intravenous system. They unplug and there are no grocery stores, just drone delivery of the packages straight from the manufacturer. Normally robots do the work of re-upping their feeding tube machines. Now everyone has to figure out how to eat. Nobody has a firearm. Sharp objects were outlawed a century ago. Humanity fades out cannibalizing one another.
