FFS, of COURSE it is! When the first Top Gun movie came out, the US Navy and Air Force saw a huge increase in recruitment. It's 35 years later, so they're not going to see that kind of increase, but the Pentagon has always been a big part of the Hollywood production process. There's even a department in the Pentagon for communication with Hollywood studios so that they always have their say in how the military is portrayed in film. Why should this be different?
