It was indeed an inside joke among his peers at West Point. This appears to be from a yearbook (probably not from his graduation year), which shows him in his cadet uniform. I'm sure he had no jewishness in his background. The cadets must have had a reason for this sobriquet, but his being a jew was surely not a part of it. He was a mediocre cadet at best, ranking 64th out of 164 academically and 125th in discipline. If you catch one line from the image, it says "In common with most fat men, he is an enthusiastic and sonorous devotee of the King of Indoor Sports, and roars homage at the shrine of Morpheus on every possible occasion." This was their genteel way of saying he was lazy.
Considering there were no jews in West Point and how jews were regarded by this class of young men at the time, the name "Swedish-Jew" was probably a way of saying they thought he was as lazy as a jew.
From the article. "In her wedding photo, Mrs. Ida Eisenhower certainly looks Black or mixed race. Also, to my eye, two of D.D.E.’s brothers “look” mixed in some photographs, particularly in younger photos I viewed: Earl D. (an electrical engineer and, briefly, legislator, died in 1968); and Milton S. Eisenhower, known here in Baltimore, Maryland as a former President of Johns Hopkins University; he died in 1985). Even D.D.E. looks Black in a photo of him at West Point.
So what makes me identify them as Black? For one thing, there’s something about their complexion that looks darker, even in black-and-white photos. And there are facial features: the broad noses, the hair texture of Earl and Milton, and even the thickness of their lips in younger photos.
One thing is for certain: There is no way that any of these illustrious people could have attained their positions, given the times they lived in, if their “Blackness” were known. They would have had to pass as white."
Source, trust me bro. Also, never trust niggers, they're either lying and or retarded. His mother looks like a mutt of some kind, but clearly not a mulatto or mestizo. Keep in mind many non-White groups made it into the US before 1960 because they were somewhere in-between being European and being Middle Eastern, such as Caucasians.
