I made a guy friend who was actually pretty cool but I lost touch with him but by the time I was going to protests I was already changing my views and they really pushed me further right. The women I saw there was either visually disgusting, dumb as fuck or both so I never wanted to take one home.

There is such a thing as being an asymptomatic carrier but it's pretty rare for the actual serious diseases that can be contracted. So unless you feel like something is seriously wrong with you, you're probably fine.
That said, don't act like STDs aren't real or like there's anything wrong with getting tested for STDs if you think that you have one.
