What would be the best way to re-align the shaft to my 2 iron?

I'm hoping to do this by repair rather than new parts. The club's not worth spending money on, but I would like to have it back in the bag.

I've gotten in the habit of running stuff like this past the people on voat for a few years.

What'd you do, get mad and bury it in the fairway?

Buy a new one.

Take the shaft & club head along with the next higher club number to a local proshop, that looks to be about a $15-$30 fix, depending on the shaft choice.

My 2 iron has a sweet spot the size of a dime, but it has sentimental value. Good luck.

No one uses a 2 iron for a reason, just replace it with a hybrid. Hell, I sold(threw away) my 3 iron to make room for a lob and a gap wedge which, to me, are much more valuable.

I'm sure you think you have a reason to have a 2 iron but the difference between a 2 and a 3 is negligible.

Edit: I'm sorry, that didn't answer your question. Your only "solution" is to cut the bent end off, reseat the head and maybe.........maybe find a grip extension to make up the club length so that it doesn't affect your stroke/technique.

This is actually a very good answer. p.s. I've got a high swing speed. I've always played long irons. The clubs are 23 years old.

Is it hollow? Should that be straight? I would get a spud wrench (or spike) and straighten it with that if necessary, and possibly solder/braze the club back on. Maybe a good epoxy.

Clubs are precision crafted weapons. You probably won't be able to fix it and make it playable again.

Find a playitagainsports near you and get a new used one.
