Personally I think it a little simplistic to reduce it all to who runs these things. Performers and consumers have agency and responsibility. I've also read in the past that porn starlets are often of Catholic background, if probably not very committed Catholics, which I suppose is unsurprising as I've also read in the past that a lot of porn girls come from the Midwest.

But here is an unscientific rundown on who runs the top ten porn companies based on this relatively fresh article:

CEO is a Canadian named Feras Antoon. I cannot determine his background definitively but Antoon seems to be a surname associated with the Levant. Syria, Lebanon, Iraq. No indication he is Jewish - except in searches where the usual anti-Semites say everyone is a Jew.

Run by voila! Larry Flynt. His pedigree is no mystery: A white trash redneck from eastern Kentucky. He was even once a bootlegger. Figures given that area's association with moonshine. I recall him telling Bill Maher years ago he was raised Baptist.

When I was growing up the big names associated with bush magazines were Flynt, Hefner, and Guccione. They dominated for decades between them. None of them Jews.
