Trucker issues warning… They’re running out of diesel fuel…

I talked to a mechanic from my local John Deere dealership yesterday. He said they can't get any more engine oil. And if you know anything about modern JD machinery, you MUST change the oil at prescribed intervals or the computer shuts down the engine.

I'm wondering how many acres of crops are not going to get harvested this season....

Plenty of John Deere brand engine oil available on Amazon, even in bulk.

How many gallons does he need? Some is even discounted but looks like this Friday is the earliest delivery date unless he's OK with another brand in which case prime overnight is available.

Dealerships don't pay retail, and substitutions will earn you a warranty suspension.

Check the seller - it's coming directly from John Deere. They're not going to cut off dealers just to resell on Amazon with tons of stock available.

Businesses will also absolutely pay retail when faced with no other choice, and it's not a substitution if it's the exact same stuff.

Yeah, for the thrill of it, a local JD mechanic told me they can't order motor oil.

And did you watch the vid I linked where the trucker also said motor oil is unavailable?

What's strange is that you're taking word of mouth at face value absolute truth but treating clear verified proof than anyone can see like it's some kind of trick.

I passed your suggestion onto the parts guy and one of the owners of the dealership. They got a good laugh from it and the owner told the parts guy he should "look into it." I told them to check Walmart and Ebay as well.
