The churches have been against Christians for a long time. Norman Vincent Peale incorporated jewish psychiatry into churches and formed the American Foundation of Religion and Psychiatry.
Reinhold Niebuhr was his media competition, and he was an even worse thing to happen to the religion in the West. He said jews wouldn't convert because American Christians weren't good enough. He thought they were martyrs who had to be all things to all people. He was horribly jealous over Henry Ford's car factory hiring all the men and paying them well. He preferred his parishioners poor, dirty and dumb, or less than himself. That meant Ford and industry was evil and taking advantage of his men. Industry was evil. Typical socialist bitch. He didn't believe in war at all until war came and he told all the men to hurry up and enlist.
