Not at all.. I’ve been throwing one since I was 8 years old. I’ve seen people throw them in all sorts of weird assed ways. I know a gook that basically balls the weights up in his hands with the net over his shoulder and “overhand” throws the wad of weights to cast it. It looks discombobulated but lands with a perfect spread every time. He can launch a net off a boat with obstructions all around him that would snag anyone who throws it traditionally…
