Definitely not only heat and humidity. I used to live in East Texas, where every summer it gets into the high 90's F with 90+% humidity. I have never seen something like that reported in 10 years of living there.

Kansas is 2 states north of Texas, so they're likely just as hot, but might not have the same extreme humidity.

There needs to be a serious independent investigation into that, considering current events.

Ranchers know water and shade are essential for cattle to survive. I'm pretty sure they've known this for say, ohhh 150 years at least!
