Store management knew this guy was a creeper, since the girl had already complained and asked to have her shifts moved away from him. By trying to play peacemaker instead of just firing the guy, this manager inadvertently set himself and the company up for a wrongful death civil suit from the girl's family. The half-assed warning given when she requested more hours that would include working a shift with her harasser is not good enough in the eyes of the law. They would call this a hostile work environment. The girl was prevented from safely working overtime because of his advances.
