I used to own a lime green fiat 850 spider, like the one in the photo. Fun little car.

Those '59 Hillman Minx's are really iconic, who could forget them.

I didn't even notice the car. Lol.

America sucked a whole lot less back then.

Wow, that car in the background almost looks kind of a little bit like my '59 Hillman Minx.

the fact that every film roll you dropped off there was copied at the processing lab

Genius on both fronts. Film Development. Kodak provided an easy avenue to get your film developed which you purchased from them and then the prints. They sold you the Camera, the film and supported you.

Also smart on the real estate side. That occupied a parking space. This is obviously before OSHA because there's no place to shit if you needed.

Many were turned into coffee stops in the 90's ultimately OSHA closed them all down.

Back when cars were something you'd enjoy driving.

By the time I started getting into photography these were few and far between. Drug stores had mostly taken over the business.

There’s a horse with a carriage on the left, if you could convince mom to cough up a nickel you were in for a ride!

I was, at the time, wanting to be a photo journalist and photographer. So, it was rewarding in its own way. Development film, printing pictures. Color balancing. Fun.
