In my neighborhood growing up it was very rare to see any litter on the ground.

These efforts across the world are almost 100% spearheaded by Whites. The problem with Guatemala and any shitskin country (and it’s probably true of china as well) is that the litterers outnumber the picker-uppers. In Sweden the ration of litterers to picker-uppers is much better .

People living in colder climates evolved higher levels of cooperativity and “selflessness”, presumably because long cold winters killed off selfish impulsive people who fuck at the drop of a hat and don’t work hard.

The net result of this are a thousand little behavioral traits that we call culture but ar actually genetic. Government can’t fix this problem. College degrees can’t stop Guatemalans from chucking shit iin the river.

I never throw trash on the ground because it causes me to have a negative emotional reaction if I do. Guatamalans don’t feel the same about that because they are 60 or 70 % wild indian.

China is large and diverse even among the Han. Maybe northern Chinks have their shit together a bit more,like the Japos. Southern Chinks are more closely related to shitskin groups like the Thai, the Hmong, etc. I can’t find IQ data on chinese regions. But I bet it would be telling. Look at the difference between Jap quality control and chink QC. Its remarkable. The swiss are not like the italians and I think we shouldn’t expect consistency of behavior across china. I remember a baby sitter from a... welfare area telling me to throw a wrapper on the ground "because the dustman will get it." I was shocked, even though I was probably only five. To this day I couldn't just throw stuff away like that. Even if the wind blows it across a field I'll still run after it.

Meanwhile in the park near me every time there's good weather people come out for a barbeque. About half of them take their rubbish away, but the other half just leave it in the grass. It's gross and I hate it.
