It took me a second to remember the movie and the scene, but that is a great analogy. Without the bots the mask has no power.

Think of Islam. Why doesn’t anybody attack Islam? Because Islam lashes out and controls the bots with fear of violent reprisal.

Why don’t a lot of people put conservative bumper stickers on their cars? Because they know leftists will attack them or their cars. In this way the conservatives are the bots being controlled.

I’ve said for a long time that conservatives need to level this playing field and even tilt it a bit in their favor. The “rule of law” is skewed against us so we ought to step outside that now diseased framework.

Think of the scene in “The Untouchables”. If you are willing to do everything within the law to stop the evil, when that doesn’t work, what are you then prepared to do? Clearly we need to do more.
