Do we really have good times though, or are men being made weak by poisoning, gaslighting, and other bullshit? I mean yeah some things are much better and easier now, some things are far more dystopian and fucked up.
I think boys are getting weak from pressure on multiple sides. Ease of finding food and getting resources. Families split up from the state encouraging women to leave husbands/fathers. Media and schools calling masculinity toxic. The little dudes need us more than ever right now.
"Good times" as in no one has seriously had their survival on the line in living memory. The commies love to screech about people starving but food is essentially a solved problem, so is clothing and shelter would be a solved problem if politicians didn't keep fucking it up with planning laws.
We live in an era where our rulers have to manufacture crises to keep everyone going, otherwise they'd have no motivation to change anything.
True story. Renter moved out and I needed it landscaped to get ready for new tenant. Contacted an outfit that said theyd have 2 guys tomorrow at 9am. I said great. Next day. 2 jews showed up. Yeah I know. But whatever. I just needed weeds pulled and these young 20year old guys were here. I go inside and come to find out one of them left after 5 mins of work when I wasn't looking. I came back out side and asked the guy where the first guy went he said he called for a ride and left because he didn't want to do it. I guess he was expecting me to give him a lawn mower or something but I only had 1 weed whacker. Thought theyd bring their own tools. Anyway - the second guy stayed which was admirable considering they were fiends who carpooled. After a couple of hours of weed whacking he got stung by a bee however. So he went home. The outfit apologized for me then only billed me $60. Ended up doing the whole thing by self. Wasn't a great job but I lucked out and the first snow of the season fell and yard looked beautiful at showing. Silly of me to think somebody would still work after getting stung by a bee.

Haha! "Silly of me to think somebody would still work after getting stung by a bee." I was 13/14 years old and a bunch of us guys were going tubing down a river close to our homes. Made it almost to the river when I got stung in the ear by one of those huge yellow hornets. I thought for a while that this was it, I was just going to die out there in the water. But I finished the trip. I had to! The older guys who had driven us all there would not take me back home. The only way home was floating down the river! Good times.
When I was about 12, an old woman asked me to weed flowerbeds on two sides of her house for 25 dollars. There were a lot of weeds. I rounded up three more kids to do it for 5 bucks each, that left me making 10 bucks. The old bitch kept looking out the window and watching the 4 of us work. When the job was done she came out all smug and lectured me about work ethics and how she had hired ‘me’ to do the work. I outsourced it and was still on my knees pulling weeds. She paid the others 5 each and stiffed me as some sort of a lesson.
I distributed a sack of Bermuda seed into her flower beds that night. About a year later I shoved a wad of JB Weld into the opening of all of her hose bibs. I fucked with this old woman once a year, for the next 6 years. She should have paid up.
Back in 2001, I was working two jobs to support myself after college. During that year, one of my second jobs was working for a public school book warehouse, inventorying their new textbooks. The first/day shift was primarily high school kids, while the second/night shift was entirely under achieving college grads like myself putting in our time to pay off student loans, while trying to keep a roof over our heads, clothes on our backs, and food in our stomachs.
The supervisor loved working with us because we were comparatively disciplined to getting the job done. During our shift he would share stories of the high school hires complete and utter lack of discipline that at the time we all found funny, but years later I would realize heralded a growing problem. These kids were barely a decade behind us, but had absolutely no discipline whatsoever.
I became curious to understand what was going on and across the board I noticed a pattern. As the silent gen retired out, the boomer gen were promoted up into the vacancies, but their incompetence hobbled them every step of the way. I then noticed the same problem repeating with every single business, agency, organization, and even families. Boomers simply didn't care.
I'm no stranger to busting my ass outside, but I also don't live in subtropical Florida.
Even I'd probably need training and tips to properly thermoregulate, or I'd melt in heat/humidity like that. That doesn't mean I'm weak or soft, just ignorant of the proper work protocols necessary for efficiency in a climate like that.
But yeah, a sense of discipline and pride in your work (and sometimes a healthy pool of spite) can really keep you mentally strong in a stressful or physically challenging environment. If a man doesn't have that, he will break as soon as things start to get hard.
If you never experienced it it is hard to imagine. Best analogy is to imagine living in a very humid sauna. The good news is that you get used to it. Or you don't.

doesn't take pride in their work
This is key. If you don't have a passion for doing good work, and enjoy seeing the fruits of your labor, it's all going to be tiring and you won't want to do it. People are so disconnected from themselves that they don't have passion for anything.

I had a new hire (25 ish) quit after 45 minutes he said he wasn’t going to tolerate this hazing bullshit. He moved about 5 bundles of shingles on a garage I was roofing.
What work are you offering I may be moving back to Florida.
Not part of generation gay. I'm part of the generation that used to fall off bikes from racing and skid across the granulated concrete on your forearms and you'd be picking it out of your scrapes for the next 2 weeks.

If not too physically demanding its too stressful.
Or too much anxiety to show up.
So they go back on welfare and play games all day.
Gen z are going to die like flies in an collapse.
Good news is that they make terrible soldiers for our masters to draft into brother wars

This is why you don't hire day labourers from an agency. You get some huffed out indian worth 20 bucks a day and have to pay the agency $250.

Honestly he's probably soft if he's never worked in heat at 21, but if he's that green you should definitely oversee him learning temp regulation
It's nothing to fuck around with and honestly deserves some educating if you let him grow up thst soft
That said he's probably ruined if he has no internal sense of pride in work by then. But again, these lessons should have started way before 21
