I'm posting this to show you what kind of brainwashing your boomer parents were exposed to when they were growing up. I'm not excusing boomers, I'm just explaining why their thinking was so messed up and why they can't understand why their children experienced problems they never did.

This was hosted by Tom Chapin, brother Harry Chapin, the same hack who had a few popular songs on the radio in the 70s like "Taxi", "WOLD", and that horrible manipulative tearjerker "Cat's in the Cradle". Fucking hippies.

The 60s and 70s were relentless in telling children that they were special, they could be anything they wanted if they just wanted it enough, that they were people TOO! and that the world was a magical place filled with fun and games, so they should just go out and GRAB IT!

I watched this crap show a couple of times in 1971 and it bored me with its preachy and condescending message. Tragically, the show lasted for five years, long enough to infect many young minds with its brainwashing.

For further annoyance, I recommend you look up a PBS show called "Zoom", which ran from 1972 to 1978, also giving young boomers a sense of self-entitlement and unwarranted self-esteem.
