Yep, there have been studies that actually show an increase in testosterone from nicotene.
On top of that it can be used as a shortcut to a productive "flow" state.
Smoking isn't great though, I've looked into this and nicotene gum is a good way to use it in this way. I'm actually still chewing a piece right now from some work I needed to get done.
Chewing tobacco, coca, and khat increase rates of cancer. Does nicotine gum have a cancer risk over time? I'd be surprised if there's been a study since most users are not using it for decades.
My understanding is there are fewer ingredients that have the potential for cancer or other problems in the gum. It's mostly just isolated nicotene.
Also frequency of use matters. Probably takes me a month to go through the equivalent of a pack of cigarettes in gum. I never crave it and I forget most days unless I think of it when I'm struggling to get into productive mode. I don't otherwise smoke but I did years ago so I know what it feels like as a habit.

There has to be some reason. Jews could buy up all the vaping companies and suck up all the money they normally do.
Mexico, like the US and Canada makes damned sure every kind of killer drug is available to kill as many as they can, but vaping makes them nuts
