Additional questions for flat tards: Why do the sun and moon rise/set beyond the horizon? Would they not just fly off into the distance getting smaller and smaller until invisible? Why does everyone see the same face of the moon regardless of where they are located?
How can Australia and South America both have 20 hour long days while Alaska is in 24 hour complete darkness.

Yeah, the sunset thing was something that i thought the flat earth people couldnt really explain. A lot of the other stuff seems potentially valid, but I definitely get hung up on the sun/moon setting and rising explanation. Doesnt fit what I see.

Other good things they can't explain is why people in SA, Aus, and Africa can all see the Southern Cross despite the fact if (according to the flat earth model) they were to look South, they would all be facing different directions. Also the fact that Notherners can't see it. Same reason Southerners cannot see Polaris.
Additionally, watch a time lapse of the night sky from the southern hemisphere and you will see the stars rotate clockwise. Watch one from the northern hemisphere and you will see the stars rotate counter clockwise.
This would make zero sense on a flat earth because everyone would be looking up at the same sky.

the sky has a horizon just like the earth does. The scales are much larger for the sky horizon (IE the sun has to get 1000's of miles further away) but its the same reason you can't see streetlights over the horizon (but again, the horizon isn't caused by the curvature of the earth, but at some distance it becomes too far away and blocked by the closer objects.)

The problem is the Flat earthers have to re-write the whole cosmology, and whenever there's something they don't know it's considered a victory for round-earthers because everything hasn't been worked out in the flat earth perspective. Its effectively a very young perspective(despite being very old) because people are still re-discovering things.

The problem with flat earthers, is any member who has integrity, soon does not identify as a flat earther.

There's curious people. Who'll spend the time to explore it. Ponder a few things, test a few things. Maybe ask some questions. But, soon come to figure out they're barking up the wrong tree.

Then there's people looking for a way to explain their victimhood. Very few will test their own thesis, much less publish it if results are unexpected. So they accept everything that falls within their paradigm, and will reject everything that doesn't..

It's an ego trip to offset the victimhood. They're in jail, under the thumb of NASA propagandists and other elites who must be keeping up the charade; and only they and their infinite wisdom, are capable of grasping where their fellow cell-mates simply are not bright enough.

The problem is they lie to themselves. This is also a problem with all major religions.

Many anomalies about the moon are hard to explain. If the moon is a spaceship with purpose, none of them are hard to explain.

Its the absolute perfect size for eclipses, which allowed for primitive understanding of the cosmos.
Its craters are unexplainably shallow.
There are many metals that seem to have no business being there.
It has a near perfectly circular orbit, without which complex life would have an incredibly challenging time on earth.
Its tidally locked, creating a side that cannot be seen from earth. (Not highly unusual, but necessary for secrecy.)
Many cultures around the world have stories about a time before the moon.

We are either living in an engineered environment, or we somehow hit the 1000 number, absolutely impossible odds lottery mega jackpot, and everything just magically happened to work out perfectly for life to exist.

It's the opposite of the sun... just look at what the temperature of the moon would be based on distance and lumens... there is no way a human could have been on the surface the temperature would be insane.

Also the moon being the exact size as the sun in the sky and to cross paths is mathematically impossible

Not mathematically impossible. Additionally, the moon's orbit gets slightly larger (more distant) over time so it will appear smaller in relation to the sun in the future. In the past it appeared larger and occluded the sun more completely during an eclipse.
