Only problem with using those motors is their very short bearing life. The subsonex while only slightly bigger uses the more durable TJ-100 turbojet.

A few 10’s of hours before major overhaul may be ok for a model but even for an ultralight aircraft it would get expensive very quickly. The TJ-100 used in the subsonex has a tbo of only 300 hours and that adds significantly to the hourly flying cost.
