"Broken heart syndrome" is a real thing. 3 years ago a ladder collapsed under me and I broke my hip. My wife took me to the ER. Got checked in for surgery the next day. My wife drove herself home that evening and had a heart attack. Fortunately she was able to call 911 and survived.

Can confirm

The newer clinical term is takotsubo cardiomyopathy: https://www.researchgate.net/publication/45282244_Takotsubo_Cardiomyopathy_Assessment_With_Cardiac_MRI

First page of the article describes the condition.

I had one of these and nearly died at 18 had a bad break up, was under stress about college stuff had really committed to physical fitness recently and so I ran a mile that night came home and did leg day with heavy weighted squats and I did drop sets to failure on everything back then, skipped dinner and only slept 3 hours because my pre-workout happened to have a bit of some amphetamine in it, there was a scandal about it shortly after, got up and had to talk my best friend through his own break up and parents divorce while constipated and struggling to pinch a shit out. Event started on the toilet and climaxed when my mom tried to get some food in me and I tasted the loudest bacon I've ever had, and developed an arrhythmia and passed out I was standing so we think hitting the floor from full height reset my heart but I'm pretty sure my heart briefly stopped pumping which is what caused me to pass out. There were some other stressors, chiefmost I was entering something like a midlife crisis, 18? Midlife crisis? Bullshit you say, my father and his father both died at 50 to a heart defect(if they had lived right they would have lived longer, insurance law was such that if I got tested for it as a child I would have been uninsurable if I ever lapsed on insurance payments which would have absolutely put me in an early grave, you see why a failed relationship and a commitment that was going to represent 10% of my life(college) wore heavy on my heart.

Takotsubo cardiomyopathy is caused by stress physical, mental, or emotional, I had all three.

Ironically when I did eventually go to the doctor they did an ultra sound on my heart and confirmed I didn't have the defect and I had sustained no long term damage.

A friend's mother nearly died from one of these when her marriage failed and family life crumbled, another friends great grandmother had one as a result of imminent domain claiming her home. A neighbor's wife succumbed to her dementia and he followed behind from a broken heart before the viewing.

It's not uncommon is what I'm saying, that said I am suspicious of everything surrounding the ramos shooting, and even though I'm thinking he was a kid that idolized murderers and was probably just groomed recently and that sandy hook's 3 shooters and a patsy approach will not be followed again as it was too messy with too many loose ends.

I have plenty of questions still but broken heart syndrome especially in the mass myocarditis world we now live in isn't something that jumps out as blatant glownigger fuckery in this instance. Possible? sure. Likely? Maybe not.

That sucks, I'm glad to hear you're still hanging in there. Hopefully your wife is well. I don't doubt broken heart syndrome is real, that certainly could be (probably) the case here...just throwing the idea out there. Nothing would surprise me in this world.

Are you serious? Do you have anything to back that up other than a conspiratorial hunch? It's baseless comments like this, that make conspiracy theorists sound like complete retards.

Fresh account with zero contributions to the site shitting on a post that expresses a very logical hypothesis...

Seeth and dilate, motherfucker.

Very logical? It's a fucking leap of faith with zero evidence dipshit

[ - ] Rotteuxx 5 points 2.0 yearsMay 27, 2022 11:45:30 ago (+5/-0)

It's a hypothesis, that comes from observations.

Once it becomes a theory it'll have evidence to support it.

Fucking air force diversity hires trying to sound smart...

I appreciate your common sense approach to the post. I definitely wasn't claiming it as fact, just expressing a thought that came across. I doubt anyone would be surprised to hear the government committed atrocities to cover up their corruption though.

I am serious. In that it is an idea that could be possible. I also said my "guess" and then even acknowledged in my post that mexicans have a higher chance of heart attacks...implying that's all it was.

But do you really put it passed the government to take extreme measures to cover up their corruption? Have you not been paying attention to the way the world works? And what, you expect CNN to bring forth a bunch of evidence that I would be able to cite?? There are plenty of weird things I could point to, to back up my claims. I never claimed they were anything more than claims though.

I understand that there are legitimate conspiracies and some have more evidence than others. The problem is, everything isn't a conspiracy. If you think like that, that's your problem. When you make a pretty long shot claim, and do it without any real evidence at all, it devalues and cheapens the legitimate , more valid conspiracies. If everything is a government conspiracy, then nothing is.

I find it best to start from the position that the gov is to blame, and that their involvement has to be ruled out. Not the other way around. You admit there are real conspiracies of evil acts...so then think about those known conspiracies. After all they have done, it's no stretch of the imagination to assume they would be involved here. But I completely agree, if this were to be more than just a random post and actually a hypothesis, it would need some evidence:

Reports say the school was on lockdown (considering all the gunfire) yet a teacher propped the door open.

It is reported that over a dozen cops were outside of the classroom for almost an hour. Were they just twiddling their thumbs, or were they racking up their kill streak?

The cops were there within four minutes of the shooting supposedly, yet the shooter was outside firing for twelve minutes. They cant keep the story straight.

According to the beaner's father, he was bullied for not being able to afford new pants (15 bucks at walmart) yet he can get ahold of thousands of dollars in firearms and equipment?

Another report shows that the buffalo shooter was in active communication with "retired" federal agents. How often are feds in communication with these killers?
