Their show "Wait Wait Don't Tell Me" began in about 1998 and was a million times better than it is now. Hosted by Dan Coffey, it was fun, original, spontaneous, and creative, and didn't push a lot of politics in your face, unlike the heavily scripted propagandistic show it's become.

I was driving a long distance recently and was scrolling through radio stations and happened to hear some NPR. Just the 30 seconds I heard were phenomenal. In just that time they managed to ramp up Russia-bad propaganda while also linking it to Covaids. It was actually kind of impressive.
Anyway, the fact that they are "national public" gives the impression that they are unbiased, totally reliant on donations, and just trying to get the news out there without spin.
The truth is that they are absolutely government propaganda and that they present themselves as any different does indeed make them the worst. At least MSNBC is open about their bias.
It's kind of like how the Bushes are worse than the Clintons. At least you know what the Clintons are all about. The Bushes and their ilk say all the right things and then sell us out to the marxist jew just like the rest of them.

I used to listen to it back in the 70s and 80s and even then I noticed they talk about Israel A LOT. That has actually been a major criticism people had against the publicly-funded media organization for decades. You absolutely will not find a right wing news reader or commentator on the show, and the only people they have on any programming who are right of center are on panel show "for balance".
One of their most popular programs, "Democracy Now", comes from the extreme far left Pacifica Foundation, which controls five radio stations, two of which are in California. I used to listen to their cultural programming in the early 80s, before they stopped programming for White people. Some of it was really good, but their news and commentary was often done by communists. (That was what my brother called it back then: Communist Radio.)
"Democracy Now", hosted by Amy (((Goodman))), is extremely far left and unapologetic about it, as is the host. NPR rebroadcasts it, which should tell you everything you need to know about NPR.

The weekday 2 AM to 6 AM slot is slightly better. You should be hearing BBC news from their international desk (not their American desk) and other.
This has been pretty interesting recently because the European view of this entire Ukrainian situation is very different than the American view of it. A couple of times in the last month their 5 AM breaking story reported opposite facts then their 7 AM breaking story.
Also of note; public radio in the city of Washington DC is very different from public radio in the rest of Virginia. The DC niggers get much better news with much less propaganda.
