lol, they want to scale down the identity politics now. I guess those are the marching orders for the mid term election season: "Don't let White people know that you hate them for the next six months, please."

They're failing because their bullshit narratives fall apart on the first bit of criticism. That's why they need censorship and group think. If you actually think about anything they say,you realize it's all bullshit.

That's not why the left is losing. Neither are the reasons stipulated in the 2 comments here already.

The left is losing because it requires an absence of authenticity.

People naturally want to be authentic. They can put it on hold for a bit, even for a while, but the desire to be authentic remains.

Those in steering positions on the left are unaware that many of their own congregation are in disagreement about certain things, but feel pressured to chose to be silent (else risk excommunication or worse attack)

I speak to lefties irl - and the shit that come out of their mouths once I reveal even a fraction of my power level...it's hilarious.

Unfortunately for the left, not only are they mostly unaware that their base isn't being authentic, those that do soon realise the problem is even more serious, as they are unable to have their base be authentic.

The whole Twitter bot debacle is a brilliant metaphor. Here are these influencers saying woke shit and getting nothing but positive feedback, yet in reality...it's mostly hollow lip service or people choosing silence over dissent.

The Left is "losing" because American politics is a professional wrestling match with a scripted outcome and a few fake punches thrown to sell the drama. That thread is hilarious in its collective delusion. "We just need more focus groups, more buzz words!" Need to be more confrontational than they already are, when their side frequently pulls innocent people out of their cars to deliver brutal beatings. They only burned half the town down in the last riot for Pete's sake.
