before we got married my wife and I agreed to "traditional" life. I'll keep bills paid and she'll keep the house. she didn't like only doing that and I'd always maintained that if she wants to work for her own money, fine. she's not good with finances but she's okay so long as she only manages her own. I manage the house.

it's not perfect, but even without her working thru the kung flu bullshit and me working from home, we never had money problems and don't fight at all.

compared to CA? this is paradise. my house and property would be in the millions in most of CA.

I wake up and go to sleep to crickets and sometimes our flock.
