Goats milk being superior to cows milk is practically unknown in the United States. Goats milk based formula is not approved for infants and can only be marketed for toddlers.

"Human Milk for Human Babies" groups are a good place to start but people are more comfortable with giving/receiving stored donor milk than having/being a wet nurse, more convenient too.

Where’s the fat? Cow milk (provided someone isnt stupid enough to use skim) has less fat than human milk. And this has less than half of cow milk’s fat content. Barley water doesnt have too much fat. Human babies need fat for their brain.

I see nothing in there that will increase iron. Cows milk does not have sufficient iron and you are watering it down further with other things. Also human milk has more vitamin C. I don't see any of that in there.

Ask around your local churches. My mom's friend's daughter can't produce enough milk for her infant, so she goes to a woman at her church who regularly donates breast milk to other mothers because she overproduces and has had a kid like 5 years in a row. Unvaccinated, unmedicated, etc.

Not sure where else you'd be able to find a regular supply of quality breastmilk (unvaccinated woman).

Me too, and I (regretfully) supplemented with formula for a few weeks with my first.

There is only a tiny, tiny fraction of women who genuinely can't breastfeed, and lots with oversupply who are willing to donate their excess.

There are two major problems or one with two sides. First issue is so much pro-forumla propaganda that has contributed to women incorrectly thinking they have an undersupply and also women being advised to breastfeed to a formula feed schedule which leads to poor growth and undersupply. "Fed is best" implies that giving then literal garbage is the best thing for a baby and if you don't agree you want to starve babies.

The other is the backlash against formula starting in the late 80s/early 90s AFAIK that lead women to think that breastfeeding is always easy and 100% instinctive, so when they have any issue at all they give up and turn to formula quickly.

Breastfeeding is a learned skill for both mother and baby, so just because the first was easy the second one might not be and vice versa. The 'free the nipple' activisim started with breastfeeding mothers not wanting to be persecuted for feeding an infant in public but was hijacked by degenerate jewish feminists. There were actually people insinuating all public breastfeeders were paedophilic exhibitionists but the truth little girls need to see it so it is familiar and young women/ teens really need to see it so they can learn for when their time comes. There are lots of techniques and seeing them your whole life makes trying a new one more likely than trying to remember a 2 day class 4 weeks ago at 4am after a week or more of sleep deprivation.

There are lots of tried and true ways of increasing supply, but the main one is the old classic Supply and Demand - the more the baby demands more milk by nursing even an "empty" breast, the more the body makes. Also while lactating the breasts are never "Empty", as the vast majority of the milk isn't stored but made on demand.

I know a lot of livestock milk replacers use blood plasma. You might have to pasteurize it or something. Just throwing it out there. Probably pretty easy to get some blood plasma if you had a lot of animals.

Whey is also used alot in baby formulas. I supposed if you had to make your own because you cant find formula, you could buy to whey supplements.
