Make sure you double triple erase all your internet postings. If they find them they will throw you back out and anti semitism is a crime some places.hasnt gotten that bad in the USA yet but it might.

Well until the recent EU excesses I was thinking the same .

But now I really thing it might be worse there than a few states in the USA.

If you don't have decades to live anyway.

It's hard to know how bad it will get in the USA.

One thing is the USA is set up to get every dollar you have through the medical system as you get older.
Other countries aren't.

I recently sold a house and moved because of immigration filling a formerly good place with Muslims.

Put your stuff in storage and live there for a year. You'll know what you want to do at the end of that year.

That is the best advice.

[ - ] Psychicrussiaspy 0 points 2 yearsMay 14, 2022 14:54:22 ago (+0/-0)

That's how I've always done it

[ - ] Fascinus 11 points 2 yearsMay 14, 2022 00:05:59 ago (+11/-0)

Can anyone convince me why I shouldn't go to Austria?

Wasn't the Austrian government forcing everyone to get vaxxed?

That would be a deal-breaker for me.

they will mandate vax in the USA as well.

They can try.

Besides I have all vax certs they can be had.

Good for you, presuming you didn't have to actually participate in this grotesque experiment.

[ - ] nibnab [op] 2 points 2 yearsMay 14, 2022 00:43:23 ago (+2/-0)

fk no!

[ - ] Flabbygasted 5 points 2 yearsMay 14, 2022 09:43:30 ago (+5/-0)

Having all the required certs is participating in their grotesque experiment though. Its not just the vax that is the experiment, but how we react to their tyranny. Whether we give into their commands is being tested.

Do they allow explosives and at least somewhat militarized weapons in Austria? Not just hunting rifles? War will happen before the US mandates a vax.

Austrian's had the lowest vax compliance in Europe

That's not quite true. Austria was lower than many others, but some of the eastern countries were and are lower still.

Several EU countries have also completely abolished all covid measures now. As if they never existed. I doubt those will bring them back. But others still require masks and the like, and even their "green passes" for QR code vaxx confirmation in some places. Those are the ones I would avoid, since they're also more likely to escalate again. I don't think Austria dropped all measures.

[ - ] diggernicks 0 points 2 yearsMay 14, 2022 08:13:40 ago (+0/-0)

I have all the vax certs that can be had

Good riddance weak sheeple bitch

Not vaxed, never wore a mask never missed work during the "pandemic"

Sounds like you come from an unamerican liberal communist state anyways

You won't be missed

Man, I left the states for France during Obama's first term with the intention of never coming back. Its been 10 years and I couldn't be happier.

That being said, when I came to France I already spoke french having already lived here a decade. Also had friends and family already here. Those are major aides in making the transition. That being said, I didn't have a fucking million bucks. I'm sure that will help as well.

[ - ] RMGoetbbels 3 points 2 yearsMay 14, 2022 08:43:44 ago (+3/-0)

Nope, you should go. If I were able to choose it wouldn't be Austria but that's your option.

Enjoy your vaxx if you haven't already been vaxxed. You're going to be vaxxed.

[ - ] Murdock 3 points 2 yearsMay 14, 2022 04:35:56 ago (+3/-0)

Austria has one of the highest tax. It is scary, more than half of your salary goes to them and if you make more, you give more.
The difference from cost of living in Vienna and the next smaller city is enormous.
If you don't mind living in smaller cities, maybe move around by car, you'll be fine.
I wouldn't pick Austria, but I don't have family from there.
Your dollar will help a lot in Poland, Czech, those countries are beautiful, they love Americans your money will stretch for a long time compared to Vienna.
Check NUMBEO cost of living website and compare the main several cities from those 3 countries, you will see... Food, beer, house.

You think it’s any better there? This is the last place here. The US.

[ - ] giantprick 2 points 2 yearsMay 14, 2022 05:27:11 ago (+2/-0)

Everyone speaks English in Europe. If they don't, they want to.

Play that to your advantage white man.

[ - ] GloryBeckons 2 points 2 yearsMay 14, 2022 01:03:39 ago (+2/-0)

If you acquire an Austrian passport, you can live and work in any EU country. No additional papers required.

From a taxation and cost of living perspective, there are better options than Austria. Shop around a bit. See where your money would get you the most value. Austria doesn't have a coast. You might find you enjoy one. You can live like a king, and far longer than a decade, on a mil in many places in Europe.

Most people in medium to large cities will know English throughout Europe, so language should not be a major barrier unless you intend on living in the countryside.

Most (perhaps all?) EU countries will require you to have health insurance upon entry, regardless of your employment status. Socialism, and all that. The best option tends to be to avoid local health insurance and go for international health insurance for expats. Tends to be cheaper and gets you better service (private hospital rooms, etc). It's weird and backwards, but that's how it is. This would also require you to "live abroad", IE in a different country than your citizenship, so not in Austria. Although, I guess if you keep your US citizenship then Austria might count as abroad too.

Speaking of which, you should look into getting rid of it. Being a US citizen means you owe US tax rates to the IRS, on all of your gains, no matter where in the world you go. But getting rid of it can be quite involved, and can incur tax penalties before they agree to cut you loose. Fucking parasites.

You might find it useful, at least to get you started and give you some ideas.

Move to a different STATE first, or even a different part of your state. There’s a YUGE difference in cost of living, taxes, economy, salary, weather, etc… between two places such as a city in CA and say, rural MO or rural MN.
There are parts of my state that, if your comparing them, you’d think they were on completely different planets. No need to move to Europe just rent a Uhaul and move out of the liberal cesspools.

How close are you to Turkey there? Has Austria ever had any problems with hordes from the east? How completely infiltrated are they now?

Terrain is no safeguard against invasion when the invasion is your own government funding unlimited flights into every air strip.

Austria is worse.

Posting on this site from Austria will get you arrested.

I was talking with several austrians recently. Some are "reeee i hate the third reich" and others love it and are based af. They get pissy there if you dont hate on the reich though i guess

[ - ] MaryXmas 0 points 2 yearsMay 14, 2022 18:46:23 ago (+0/-0)

Yeah, you should go.

Central Europe is going down. The society is cucked and degenerate, there is a potential war against Russia in the horizon and the Muslims are taking over in one or two decades. There is no free speech, the weather if bad most part of the year and most people are openly hostile towards Americans and the USA.

If you are financially independent, buy a house on the Mediterranean coast in Spain, Italy, Croatia, Greece or one of the islands (Sardinia is my favorite). You'll have mostly sunny weather, moderate criminality and the locals still have a solid common sense. If you are looking for a wife, then Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Poland are the right places to look at.

Consider the possibility that Europe might have another war not too far in the future, now that American hegemony can't (or won't) protect them. Germany is arming again in a big way, and Poland intends to, while Russia is turning further east. The long European tradition of infighting might be about to make a comeback. Think carefully about where you want to be when that happens.

Oh, Austria. Yeah that makes sense.
