They are not creative. The main difference between Japs and bugmen is that the bugman will fuck over his mother for a dollar. Japs have personal integrity and are socially responsible. I took on a bugman partner 40 years ago, we both forked over equal seed money for an electronic business. I kept the books and reinvested all profits into equipment. The chink came from a wealthy Hong Kong family. He was very capable in electronics, but treated our employees like he was superior because he was asian. After 6 months he wanted to liquidate the business and split the equipment because we had not drawn any pay. I had told him from the beginning that I was all in and that quitting was not an option, so I reminded him of that and told him I would pay his original outlay over the next 6 months interest free. He agreed and bailed. Every month he would come in and get a payment and run his mouth. At the last payment he was again shooting his mouth off about Chinese superiority when I told him in front of the employees that Asians were not very bright and he in particular was stupid. I got 6 months of free labor and used his money for a year without interest. He blushed harder than any person I have ever seen. They are all about "face", never saw him again.
Asians are good at replication, not inventive fabrication. A point of interest...back in the early 90s the company I worked for leased a crane to a Japanese company. After a few months the owners were curious as to how the crane was being used...when they got to Japan (unannounced) they were taken to the crane and it was completely disassembled and copied. The owners were jaw dropped to which they were paid in full for the crane, compensated for rental time and loss of future rental income until a replacement crane from Krupp could be delivered to America. There was no argument but what my company was amazed at was the Japanese manufacturer's ability to copy and improve the bearing design. They took a a 1/2" Dia ball bearing, split it into half to where it contained a smaller metrics dia bearing and then split the smaller bearing again to where it had a bearing inside of that...and all their bearings were structurally superior to the German bearing, which is why Todano Cranes are probably the best cranes on the market today, they didn't design the crane but they did improve them.
Exactly...the chicomms are a jewed nuisance with no pride or personality in their workmanship...the "ZOOMLION" cranes, of which I believe are now available in the 450ton capacity class, are 1/3rd the price of a German designed crane such as GROVE/KRUPP/DEMAG (so good is Deutsche technology that Manitowoc Crane Industry acquired KRUPP/GROVE and TEREX acquired DEMAG...get into the LIEBERR CRANES and now you're talking the apex of superiority and 20% more in cost. Chinese cranes aren't even allowed on many industrial projects because of their narrow Dia turntables, poor load moment ratings and inability to withstand rigorous duty-cycle work, also, the caliber of modulus of elasticity in the chink crane boom is of very low rating making it susceptible to acute deflection failure.
Asians are smart. Problem is, Communism pretty much wiped out all the high IQ genes wherever it burned down a village. So, whatever intelligent genes were in the Han population, they are extinct now. Thus, you get a nation of cargo-cultists.
China's history is basically take over a people, eradicate their scientists philosophers thinkers and strong men. Do that for 4,000 years and you get what you see
Do you even know a single Japanese person? Sharp is not the word I'd use to describe them. Good at memorizing? Yes. Terrible at logical thought, though. I mean...its really bad watching Japanese people try to think for themselves. That gif is a perfect example.
Yeah, I lived in Japan for 2 years. Worked at Sumitomo and Toshiba. You don't know what you are talking about dude. If you want a logical thinker, hire a Jap. They'll run laps around you in math. Their weakness is making social decisions. They have a bit of an orderly collectivist mindset. Not really "communist" but, very socially conscious about things like hierarchy. It's easy for a foreigner to hack a Japanese person's social algorithms. See: "Gaijin Superpower".

The Chinese meanwhile, have just recently (on civilizational timescales) killed off the vast majority of all intellectuals.
In both cases this has an effect.

The Japs are razor sharp though.
