For the past 45 years, as long as I can remember anyway, my church(s) has been sending money and people to Haiti to help with water purification, housing and disease prevention.

It's half an island with a population of a mere 11 million people. You'd think all the problems would be solved by now.

Charity doesn't solve problems, it makes sociopaths rich and gives you a bigger population in the next generation with the same problems

True and then you realize it's not about helping people but letting them wallow in their own consequences and just better your own life

Sometimes it's not thier consequences. A child is not responsible for thier parents crimes. If you can teach that child some of the things thier parents don't (because of drug use or mental health issues or being niggers) then there is a chance they will grow up to be better.
