Just got back from Mexico

Had to go for work. They're full blown covidiots. Nearly everyone is wearing masks, cops are everywhere stopping people. Creepy quiet and everyone is on edge.

Yup, glad I never decided to expat to Lake Chapala. I knew it would be spic city, which I’m willing to tolerate since at least a can of coke costs $0.15 there when it costs is $1 here, but maxxed up vaxxed up cucks are a no-go scenario, even if I did speak the language

Weird, I've heard the exact opposite. Over the past year I've spoken to three people who went there, one to a resort, one to Mexico city, and one to some house they had access to who knows where. They all said it was wide open and relaxed.

It was also one of only like 3 countries you could go to without a vaccine.

Depends on when these people you spoke to, travelled there, since now (i.e. past 2-3 weeks) has been some emergence in a new species of kungflu. Supposedly. A year ago or even a few months ago, people werent on edge about it.

I just spent a week in Playa Del Carmen. Outside no one except hotel employees wear masks. Inside you are supposed to wear a mask but enforcement is hit or miss. Same with riding on a bus.

Yep...had different discussions with locals. There is no crime there nowadays. If you steal, the cartel finds you and kills you, end of story. They don't want to attract attention with petty criminals.
