I have a copy of "A History of Central Banking". It has a portrait of Lincoln on the cover (amongst other leaders) but doesn't have much to say about the development of the war.

It does mention Lincoln established the "greenback" dollar to help fund the North's war effort and the issuing of $347,000,000 in currency. Licoln thanked Colonel Dick Taylor for the idea.

It goes on to mention August Belmont, who it claims was acting on behalf of the Rothschilds in the post-war period. It says there was $5,000,000,000 worth of government bonds that Belmont was able to buy significant portions of at a 50% discount because most people expected them to be redeemed with inflated paper money. The book claims some shenanigans were involved in getting Grant elected and that resulted in the bonds being redeemed at full face value and in gold rather than paper.

I have nothing to support this, but I believe the Civil War was an attempt by kikes to break apart the Union and recolonize, having failed to do so during the War of 1812 (sometimes called the Second War for Independence). There were many factors leading up to the war, but who brought slaves to the Americas? Who were the majority of slave owners in the US? Who would want to keep those slaves? They stoked already existing tensions between the North and South in hopes that the Union would break apart. Classic divide and conquer.

I believe their plan was for the South to win, with kikes weaseled into power in their typical fashion, and have the North come under the iron boot of the banker owned crown and the Confederate army. The South lost and, unfortunately, came under the iron boot of the North. Angered by their defeat, the jews assassinated Lincoln. They eventually achieved at least partial recolonization in 1913 through the Federal Reserve Act, and with control of our economy, it was only a matter of time before they controlled everything.

I remember reading some time ago that Lincoln had refused jews a central bank in the US, and if so could be a lead up to the Civil War. Again, I clearly have no links. It's just something I'm inclined to believe given the way kikes work, their constant insistence on controlling money, and the fact that they almost always have their filthy hands in every fight the past few hundred years or more. The war just feels jewy as fuck to me in so many ways.

Keep in mind I'm not saying the Union were the good guys and the Confederacy a bunch of jewy bad guys. I'm saying the kikes saw an opportunity to start yet another brother war and gain power over people they've been at war with for centuries. Never let a good crisis go to waste.

EDIT: I feel I should add that every successfully assassinated US president went against the jew in some form. McKinley enacted the Gold Standard Act of 1900, Garfield was against central banking, and Kennedy with EO11110 and threatening to cut aid to Israel if they did not cease building nukes. Why would Lincoln be any different with his assassination? He clearly angered jews with his actions.
