I don't believe a word of this. They are either completely making it up by lying about what these old documents say, or else they have fabricated them and inserted them into the royal historical records. There were no niggers in England.
There may be a slight chance that this man did exist, but he would most likely have been taken to England from somewhere -- who knows where -- and like Squanto, given an education and taught how to behave in English society. His presence in court as a trumpeter would have been seen as Henry displaying his trophies and nothing more.
The first time Blanke appeared on record was when he wrote directly to King Henry VIII to request a pay rise, when he found out the other trumpeters in court were earning more than him.
