Exactly. If the WEF assigns me to "Area A, pod 12" and the surrounding pods are inhabited by niggers that want my white ass dead, how will I be less racist?
This is part of the "smart cities" these evil fuckers are planning. Forcing us all to live in tiny apartments, cheek by jowl, no room to swing a cat. No garden. No back yard. No space.
This is what has been primarily enraging me over the past decade. I've been telling everyone that will listen that this is the road we are taking and it's not for the better.
i like the idea of a tiny house, provided I own the land and house. I will not live in a box in a tower like I see in China. Most people are looking for huge rich houses with tons of bedrooms and amenities that are just not needed. my opinion is, the greed of many people is one of the big causes of the housing crash of 2008, and is causing another one now. nobody is building simple 3 bedroom houses anymore. either condos/townhomes, or HUGE mc-mansions. and in our area, ALL new housing now comes with an association fee. total waste of money, but people are lining up to buy regardless of the price. people expect WAY too much, and let their greed control them.

That's often by design of the regulators. The regulatory agencies have huge power to decide what kinds of houses are allowed planning permission, or get cleared for loans. It's practically illegal at this point to build small discreet appartments or houses and it's causing a huge housing crisis across the west because everyone who can't afford a penthouse covered in green-new-deal tech is forced onto government charity.
but people are lining up to buy regardless of the price
It's not like they have a wealth of choices here, but I agree. Generally people want more house than they need and it ends up just being a drain on resources. If nothing else keeping it all clean is a pain.
I would agree, but add also the developers (aka cockroaches). the developers make tons of money on the big houses, and not so much on the smaller 3 bedrooms. so the developer only wants to build big houses, and the regulator comes in and says, you have to build some "affordable" housing, so they compromise and build half condos/townhomes and half mansions, with nothing in between.

Idk. Building anywhere near or in a big city the primary cost of any development project is the site. The site is a fixed cost, if they can fit more units into it they'll maximise their profits. The market for mansions and penthouses is already saturated, anyone who gets permission to build a bunch of small single bed apartments could absolutely clean up in my city.
Where I live the "affordable" housing racket involves requiring developers to build a bunch of social housing units as a part of the development. They're the same as all the other units, but the government has the power to decide who gets to live in them.
It's exactly what they're trying to do. They're robbing us of our homeland, homogeneity, and any possibility of the American dream; they know what we want for them, they're just hoping they can enslave us first
Those "stairs" would never meet IBC or even OSHA code. OSHA max is 9.5", while IBC is 7".
If something is that blindingly obvious, makes you wonder just what other corners were cut building that pod. Half-assed wiring, shitty plumbing. And I bet they paid a fuckton for it, too.
