They will never allow electricity to go down. It is how they maintain control. Fuel will be taxed to absurd prices, but they will never allow us to become uncomfortable and bored otherwise they will have angry mobs everywhere.

One of my neighbors told me last year that he can't take it anymore and quit watching the news on TV. Instead, he watches old westerns to distract himself. He is making no preparations and gets a look on his face if I bring up anything about where we are headed. This year he wants to put up a 'show building' to display his toys.
It's really too bad because he is a hard worker with a lot of skills that could be useful.
