what is your opinion on people in the armed forces ??

I'd once known someone who was JSOC who later did PMC shit in Iraq who basically had the mental state of a seven year old

Think it'd be pretty obvious by now it's just sentiment but just wanna know how everyone sees it y'all newfags ? any family ? former yourself just changed your mindset ?

The tiny little town I live in has police

Their only "useful" action is to generate more local revenue via traffic tickets

There's almost no real crime here

Tiny town in east TX here. Lots of meth heads live just outside the town in 'manufactured' houses on rural properties. Illegals running grow houses in isolated areas.

I was in before all this bullshit wokeness. The experience has served me well in life, things like dealing with underlings/employees, personal discipline and some outstanding janitorial skills. A lot of your time in the military will be taken up by cleaning things like floors, bathrooms and parade grounds.

I think most of them are young and marginally desperate. They want something more and they couldn't see another option. Leadership is brainwashed into a military mindset. It doesn't mean it's wrong, but it does not foster free thinking. Fuckwads at the top are the nigger Bama's hand picked and should only be used for target practice.

There are basically three types that enlist in the military:

The generational idiot "muh daddy was in da arrmeh soze imma gonna go inda army and heez so proud".

The general idiot "uh they give us like free stuff n' sheeit? I basically just have to get through bootcamp and like I get a job cuz no one wants ta hire meh...."

The Patriot. "I'm fighting for the freedom of our country. We have terrorists everywhere and America should rule over the world to keep us all safe. That's what Fux News sayz!"

The only reason that I can justify enlisting in the military is if you have no other options and need training in some field or another. ie: pilot, doctor, nurse, mechanic or law enforcement.

Most, if not all, of these people are moron npcs that were useless before they enlisted and mostly useless when they got out. Any of them that tells you that I wazza fightin' fer yur freedum! just walk away before you become stupidurr.

I can fly and learn to fly an attack helicopter in the military so the only reason is not the one you listed unless you know of another place I can live out my dream of being attack helicopter.

I almost went in. Wish I would have (of course before the woke bullshit). Wanted to expert train on weapons, learn a little more on strength training, discipline, and free education afterwards. Also, to serve my country that I loved at one time. Unfortunately ALL of that has changed and love for country means nothing anymore.

I did Special Operations. I can confirm that 99% of the military are weak dicked NPCs with 90 IQs. I despise being thanked for my service. It makes me cringe.

Generational Military Family here.

Both Grandpas were Fighter Pilots in Vietnam and after.

Dad was 20 Year enlisted Airforce, Brother went Army for Iraq 3 tours both Enlisted and Officer before Medical Discharge from likely Vax Side effects dropping lung capacity.

BIL went Air Force Enlisted and has been in England the past few years.

I was in Army ROTC on the way to Chemical Corp while my brother did the Green to Gold program after his first tour, when it came time to sign my contract I noped the fuck out.
