submitted by goatfugee12 to whatever 2 yearsMay 3, 2022 19:10:49 ago (+15/-0)     (whatever)

any one know of a safe brand of vitamins? I need more potassium / magnesium for cramps but I don't want one full of soy, rice flour, and other shit like the one I just bought.

Megafood products are made from whole foods, are tested for gluten/soy, pesticides/herbicides and certified to be glyphosate free.

Garden of Life is another good brand with many organic and excipient-free offerings.

Both brands are readily available.

*Edit: See comments from other goats below as to why these may not be the best options. Looking into the matter further, HealthForce seems as if it would be a better choice: https://healthforcesuperfoods.com/faqs/

Garden of Life was bought by Nestle.

GREAT catch!

I forgot about that.

Megafood is made in China, which accounts for a large portion of the vitamins on the market today:
https://www.made-in-china.com/products-search/hot-china-products/MegaFood.html

Garden of Life is a Nestle product:
https://www.gardenoflife.com/why-gol

You can not find much information about where these products are manufactured, so my guess would also be Chyna.

Sorry op, I don't have any real suggestions for you, but the majority (80% according to huffpo) of vitamins are manufactured in China.

Bummer. Could have sworn they were made in the USA. I seem to recall a statement to that effect years back. No real info on their web site.

Perhaps I was thinking of this? https://www.megafood.com/meet-our-farmers/friends-of-megafood.html

In that case, maybe check out HealthForce: https://healthforcesuperfoods.com/about/manufacturing/

All of their products are made in the US and everything I've tried from them has been great. Organic and heavy-metal free as well: https://healthforcesuperfoods.com/faqs/

Bonus, I didn't see any faggy activism on their blog, so they've got that going for them as well.

Yeah, it's kind of funny, but when you do a search for Megafoods, it comes up as "American made" many times, but again, the whole system is kind of fucked as they do not need to expose where the initial products originate.

Another good article on this, ironically from a Chinese- American journalist / HK (epoch times)?

https://12ft.io/proxy?q=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.theepochtimes.com%2F5-facts-you-need-to-know-if-your-vitamins-are-from-china_361599.html

The whole supply chain has been corrupted, and with the current supply chain issues, do you really believe that any one of these companies are doing their due diligence to make sure how it is sourced, fuck no, they just need raw product to be able to continue to ship "their" product.

I do believe in supplements, but people need to be aware that there is the potential that they are doing more harm than good depending upon where they are sourced, so just try and be as judicious as you can.

Great information!

do you really believe that any one of these companies are doing their due diligence to make sure how it is sourced

While there are certain to be at least a handful of companies that do, the only one that I am aware of is Nutiva. I used to be friends with one of their purchasers and, when formulating one of their mixed-ingredient products, they experienced difficulty bringing it to market due to the limited availability of ingredients that met their strict criteria.

Health Ranger is probably another good company to look into as they do all of their testing in-house.

Orange brand vitamin C.
Sun brand vitamin D.
Carrot brand vitamin A.

It's amazing how you retards even function in this world. VITAMINS ARE IN YOUR FOOD!

It’s true we should aim to get all our health needs met by our food and lifestyle. However, you are wrong about carrots and vitamin A. Carrots do not have available vitamin A aka retinol, they have prerequisites for vitamin A aka carotenoids. If you want to meet your vitamin A requirements, you need to eat dairy, red meat, butter, and offal especially liver.

Thanks for adding.
Correct, as long as the hens were living like they were meant to, and eating insects and scratches not fed soy or grain or pufa

[ - ] Qwertytoal 2 points 2 yearsMay 4, 2022 01:17:07 ago (+2/-0)

No. Not anymore. Also, vitamins are more comvenient.
Not to mention some people need higher doses of a vitamin, and instead of eating cups and cups of brocolli or spinach, they can take some magnesium. Maybe they need magnesium sulfate vs oxide, so its helpful to take as supps.

Our soil where food is grown is supposed to contain some minerals and if they are lacking, those minerals are lacking from the food.

People that post bullshit like your crap about vitamins existing in food. Just stfu about it

You sound like someone who read something somewhere once and believed it without thinking.

Vegetables don't just have vitamins because someone watered them with Brawndo. Vegetables have vitamins in them because the vegetables need them to regulate their own homeostasis to live.

Thorne Research doesn't have any kikes. They're located in South Carolina. Only one oriental in their leadership. They took the Chinkpill when it came to marketing apparently. Of course, it was a (((Zhang))). Exclusively goy run otherwise.

[ - ] lord_nougat 2 points 2 yearsMay 3, 2022 19:37:57 ago (+2/-0)

Pretty sure they're all made in china, so good luck.

[ - ] PostWallHelena 2 points 2 yearsMay 3, 2022 19:34:07 ago (+2/-0)

I dont know. All these supplement companies are so shadey and owned by foreigners.

[ - ] Fascinus 2 points 2 yearsMay 3, 2022 19:17:48 ago (+2/-0)

Not sure if they're kiked and Calms magnesium is great.

You should really do your homework before you contemplate supplementing with potassium. It can be extremely dangerous and can stop the heart from beating.
Why not eat potatoes and oranges and dates? Even avocados and bananas have a high amount of potassium.

Oregon's Wild Harvest. It’s a supplement company, not vitamins, but their stuff is correct. I use their garlic.

[ - ] Fascinus 0 points 2 yearsMay 3, 2022 21:59:14 ago (+0/-0)

Good call. Everything I've tried from them has been top quality and excipient free.

I especially like that they frequently pair an extract with the whole product. This is one of my preferred methods of administration.

Calm. Cal = Calcium M= Magnesium. No more cramps. Costco sometimes has it. Most natural food stores. Don't buy the fake sugar version, get 'natural'. Heat up a 1/8 of a cup of water in the microwave, put some in, it fizzes. Then add the juice of your choice. Drink.

No more cramps.
