Life long Texan, lived in Austin until 16 years ago, moved out of town about 20 miles to rancher country, to escape the liberals flooding in. 16 years on; they’ve migrated to my area because no one can afford to live in Austin anymore. The wife and I heard that Tennessee was hardcore conservative. We went to Nashville last year on a sort of vacation, but also to look at property to retreat to and be among our kind of folks. We saw freaks like this all over the place in Nashville, it looked like Austin. Where do you go to escape the woke mind virus?

I just back from Idaho which I've been looking at seriously. There is a place you might wanna check out.

I was born and raised in El Paso and knew I was going to leave in my early teens. I didn't like living in a border town and haven't since 17 when I joined the military. Now that I am approaching retirement age I'd like to live where most people look and act like me. Let me tell you something buddy, there all over Idaho. Northern Utah as well.

Just sayin'

Now don't go up there and raise property prices! At least not 'till I get there ;-)

Yea, you could walk across to Mexico. It was really nice while growing up and I actually liked going into Juarez. About the time I was becoming a teen is when the SHTF and NAFTA became all you would hear about. It fucked over my Dad and the single worker family income and school became infested with spics who didn't speak the language.
I began to hate the place and knew I would be leaving that shit hole as soon as I could.

Yes, just north of and you could smell it when the wind changed directions. I remember walking across to go watch glass blowers do their thing and eat the cheap street food. But even then you couldn't drink the water and most folks were dirt poor.

Beats me. In rural/small town PA the people are mostly based but only if you consider MAGAtards based. Lots of big tent conservatism and "we're all americans" types.
