We need a Liberia 2.0. I think we'd have a significant number of them leaving if we reduce the friction in the way to 0 or just below 0 and start an advertising campaign. We can psychologically prime them to be receptive of the culture of their homeland and reduce negative feedback that might dissuade other potential engineers from joining them.

When I take a walk for exercise, I always walk in the middle of the street, not too close to houses on either side. I wear reflective gear and avoid staring too closely at any of the houses. I often think of Ahmaud Arbery while I’m walking.

Unless you start jogging into other people's houses armed with a hammer I think you'll be ok somehow.
