1. No one needs twitter. 2. Europe gonna have a hella hard time crying out to the world if/when Russia invades if there's no twitter there. 3. Elon just flips a switch and Europe no longer has access and he's already said that it's not about the money.
That's not how it works. For whatever reason, if your website is visible in another country or whatever and they get pissy enough, they can force you to do whatever things they want or block you out of the country.
The best thing Elon can do is just make twitter not exist in Europe by his own choice and tell the EU to fuck off.
